For the first time, our group takes part at the Europeade, this time held in Frankenberg, Germany. An international dance festival, with about 6000 dancers, from more than 20 countries.

4 days of fraternizing with our Polish friends from dance-group 'Gornicy-Debiensko' with as the apotheoses a splendid show.

After 7 participations at the famous 'Krakelingenstoet' and the 'Tonnekesbrand' in Geraardsbergen, 'De Hovelingen-Viking' gets admitted to the 'Fraternity of Manneke Pis from Geraardsbergen' since that moment our 'manneke' in 'Hovelingen'-costume adorns the museum. |

De Hovelingen-Viking participate at the first 'Sint-Jans weekend' in Westmalle. After a exciting final game, De Hovelingen-Viking provide the first Sint-Jans couple.
